Ralph Mitton
General Manager

Ralph Mitton joins Old Salt Millwork as General Manager with a rare mix of shop-floor instinct, engineering discipline, and a habit of inventing better ways to build.
He grew up in the trade. The fundamentals came from his father’s basement cabinet shop; the rest came from years of hands-on home building. He later formalized that drive with studies in Mechanical Engineering—the piece that now lets him move easily between traditional joinery and modern fabrication.
Before millwork, Ralph spent time at Combat Sports designing high-performance composite hockey sticks and baseball bats, work that produced several patents. That same inventive streak now goes into running Old Salt’s day-to-day operations and workshop: scheduling, quality, structure, and the details that decide whether a custom kitchen or commercial install lands clean.
When he is not on the floor, he is usually on the ice, on a golf course, on the water, or at a grill.
